Overview

This website and online store are operated by Xiamen Carafio Trading Co., Ltd., trading as CARAFIO (“CARAFIO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Shopify provides the ecommerce platform for our store. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Access and Accounts

You may browse without an account. If you create one, provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly at hello@carafio.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be legally able to place an order in your location. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Terms.

2. Product Information

We aim to describe our products accurately. Photography, lighting, screens, and normal production variations may cause minor differences in appearance. Props shown in images are not included unless the product description says otherwise. We may update descriptions, ingredients, prices, or availability, but a material change to an accepted order will require your agreement unless the law requires it. Your rights if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described remain unaffected.

3. Product Use and Pet Safety

From about 20 cm / 8 inches away, mist lightly onto the coat on your dog's body from the middle toward the tail. You can also spray a little onto your hands or a grooming brush and distribute through the coat. Use lightly on bedding or pet areas if desired.

Never spray toward the face. Avoid the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, genitals, and broken or irritated skin. Stop use if irritation occurs.

4. Orders and Cancellations

An order confirmation shows that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean we have accepted it. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance for a reasonable reason, such as unavailability, a payment or address problem, suspected fraud, or an obvious error. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

If you need to change or cancel an order, email hello@carafio.com as soon as possible. We will try to help, but cannot guarantee a change once processing has begun. After shipment, the Refund Policy applies.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices and promotions may change before you place an order. The checkout shows the currency and the amount CARAFIO will charge, including shipping and taxes collected by us, before you submit your order. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order and will contact you if it affects your purchase.

Additional import duties, taxes, or carrier charges may apply to an international delivery when they are not collected at checkout. Any such charges depend on the destination and are subject to applicable law and the information presented before purchase. Your bank or payment provider may also charge its own currency conversion or transaction fees. You must be authorized to use the payment method you provide.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Available destinations, shipping options, charges, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates may change because of carrier or customs delays. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact us at hello@carafio.com if a shipment is lost, damaged, or materially delayed.

We remain responsible for loss or damage in transit until the goods are delivered to you or a person or location you have authorized, subject to applicable law. If an incorrect address supplied by you causes a failed delivery, reasonable additional shipping charges may apply before resending. Your mandatory delivery rights are unaffected.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Our Refund Policy explains the 14-day change-of-mind return period measured from delivery, return conditions and costs, refunds, damaged or faulty goods, and exchanges. It also explains how to request a return before sending a product back. These voluntary terms do not limit any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.

8. Intellectual Property

Our website content, product images, designs, text, logos, and trademarks belong to CARAFIO or their respective owners. You may use the website for personal shopping, but may not reproduce, sell, or commercially use its content without permission, except where the law allows.

9. Optional Tools

We may provide access to optional tools operated by third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We do not control those tools, but this does not limit any responsibility we have under applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to other websites. We do not control their content or practices. Review their terms before using them. This does not affect any rights you may have in relation to a CARAFIO purchase.

11. Shopify and Your Purchase

Shopify powers our store. Your purchase contract is with Xiamen Carafio Trading Co., Ltd., trading as CARAFIO. Please contact CARAFIO about product information, orders, delivery, returns, or customer service.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used. Third-party payment and delivery providers may process information needed to complete your order under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

13. Reviews, Photos, and Other Customer Content

You retain ownership of reviews, photographs, videos, or other content you submit. If you choose to post content through a public review feature, you allow us to host and display it in that feature and to make reasonable formatting or moderation changes that do not misrepresent your views. If you send content privately, we may use it to respond to your request, but will ask for separate permission before publishing it.

We will seek your separate, specific permission before using your review, photo, video, name, social media handle, image, voice, or information about your pet in advertising or other promotional material outside the review feature. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, including permission from any identifiable people shown. Please disclose any incentive or compensation connected to a review. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive.

14. Errors and Updates

We may correct errors in website content, prices, descriptions, or availability. If a correction materially affects an accepted order, we will contact you and provide any remedy required by law. A website update will not by itself change an accepted order.

15. Acceptable Use

Do not use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, or infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent or address such conduct.

16. Service Availability

We work to keep the website available and accurate, but it may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted access. This section does not reduce your rights in relation to a product or order.

17. Third-Party Services

Payment, hosting, and delivery services may be provided by third parties. Their separate terms may apply when you use their services. CARAFIO remains responsible for its own obligations to you, including obligations that cannot be excluded under consumer law.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, compensation, consumer guarantees, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes any right to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to meet a consumer guarantee.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss that was not caused by CARAFIO or our products, or that was not reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by use contrary to the product directions or by unauthorized alteration or misuse after delivery. Each claim will be assessed on its circumstances and applicable law.

19. Consumer Rights

These Terms are subject to the mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase, including the Australian Consumer Law where applicable. If a term conflicts with a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, that right or remedy prevails.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes may be brought before a competent court in Huli District, Xiamen, China, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in another court or forum. You may also contact an appropriate consumer protection authority.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order or remove rights you already have. Where required by law, we will give notice before a material change takes effect.
